Veldskoen Rally is offering a brand-new Suzuki Hayabusa in a separate promotional draw from its QJ SRT 900 competition. To enter through the current purchase route, buy the official R200 Veldskoen Rally Hayabusa keyring. Each successful AdPay purchase generates a unique six-digit entry number. Entries close at 17:00 on 26 September 2026, and the live draw is scheduled for 22:00 at Klerksdorp Dam. Unlike the QJ draw, the selected Hayabusa entrant does not need to be physically present.

Is the Suzuki Hayabusa competition real?

Yes. Veldskoen Rally publishes a dedicated keyring product page and detailed Hayabusa-specific Terms and Conditions. The documents identify the promoter, physical product, entry mechanism, entry deadline, prize, draw time, winner-contact procedure and costs left to the winner.

The specific rules describe this as a promotional competition connected to a physical merchandise purchase. The keyring is the product and the draw entry is incidental to that purchase. Use only the official Veldskoen Rally pages linked below. Intre does not sell keyrings, receive entries or select winners.

How to enter the Hayabusa draw

Open the official Hayabusa keyring pageDo not use an unofficial reseller, social-media comment or private payment request.
Purchase the R200 promotional keyringEach qualifying keyring purchase is treated as one entry into the Hayabusa draw.
Use accurate contact detailsThe organiser relies on the submitted telephone, WhatsApp and email details if your entry is selected.
Complete the AdPay paymentThe entry is generated only after successful payment. A failed or incomplete checkout does not create a confirmed entry.
Check your email for the entry numberA unique entry number should be issued immediately and recorded in the official draw database. Keep the confirmation.
Remain contactable after the drawYou do not need to attend, but you must respond and complete the claim procedure within the published period.

The keyring is not a rally ticketBuying the R200 keyring creates a Hayabusa draw entry but does not grant access to Veldskoen Rally. A separate access pass is required if you want to attend the event.

What can you win?

The current specific rules offer one brand-new 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa supplied in standard form, with a published retail value of R361,000. No modifications or customisation are included unless the promoter expressly states otherwise. The motorcycle is supplied with a full tank of fuel at handover, but delivery is not included.

The Hayabusa is Suzuki’s 1,340 cc high-performance grand tourer. That brief description is enough here because this article is about the competition, not another full motorcycle review.

Who can enter?

The specific product page says qualifying entrants must be at least 18. The broader Veldskoen Rally competition rules require participants to possess a valid South African identity document or passport and exclude directors, members, employees and agents of the promoter and their immediate families.

The winner must hold a valid South African Code A motorcycle licence at the time of handover. The specific rules do not say that this licence must be held merely to purchase the keyring, but it is an explicit condition before the motorcycle is released.

How much does it cost?

The official keyring costs R200. This is a merchandise purchase rather than a separate “entry fee”: the purchaser receives a physical Veldskoen Rally keyring and one incidental draw entry. The keyring can be collected at the event gate, but failing to collect it does not invalidate an entry when payment was successfully processed.

No postal delivery is offered. Anyone who wants the physical keyring but cannot attend should ask the organiser what collection arrangements, if any, are available after the event.

Can I enter without buying a keyring?

The Hayabusa-specific rules mention a free-entry option and direct readers to the official website. The general competition rules describe two no-purchase entry periods — 27–29 March and 3–5 April 2026 — with certified-document requirements. Those periods have already passed. The currently advertised route is the R200 keyring purchase.

Important dates

General campaign began 20 March 2026
Historical free-entry windows 27–29 March and 3–5 April 2026 — both closed
Safer purchase cutoff Before 16:00 on 26 September because the general rules publish this earlier time
Hayabusa-specific closing time 17:00 on 26 September 2026
Hayabusa draw 22:00 on 26 September 2026
Contact attempts Within seven calendar days after the draw
Winner response and arrangements Within 14 calendar days after the draw
Maximum holding period One calendar month from prize confirmation
Use the earlier cutoff if entering lateThe Hayabusa-specific Terms say entries close at 17:00, while the general promotional rules state that the overall competition ends at 16:00. Complete payment well before 16:00 rather than relying on the extra hour.

How is the winner chosen?

Each successful keyring purchase creates a unique six-digit entry number recorded in the draw system. The winning entry is selected through a verified random-number-generator process during the live event at Klerksdorp Dam. An independent auditor oversees the draw, and the auditor’s confirmation is final and binding.

The draw is scheduled for 22:00. One lower section of the product page still displays 20:00, but the product-page heading, current FAQ and dedicated Hayabusa Terms all state 22:00. The article therefore uses 22:00 as the controlling published time.

Do I need to be present to win?

No. The organiser will use the contact details supplied at purchase. This is the opposite of the QJ SRT 900 draw, so do not apply the QJ attendance rule to the Hayabusa competition.

Within seven days after the draw, the promoter says it will make up to three telephone calls, send up to three WhatsApp messages and send up to three emails. A selected entrant who cannot be contacted, does not respond or does not complete the claim process within 14 days may lose the prize to a redraw.

Can I enter more than once?

Yes. The dedicated Hayabusa Terms state that each keyring equals one entry and that there is no limit on the number an individual may purchase. This is more specific and more recent than the product-detail accordion that mentions a maximum of two keyrings.

More entries never guarantee a winBecause one official product-page section still mentions a two-keyring maximum, anyone planning a large purchase should obtain written confirmation from Veldskoen Rally before paying. The total number of entries is not fixed in the rules.

What happens if you win?

The selected entrant must respond, provide the verification information requested by the promoter and arrange the claim within the published period. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The organiser may substitute a motorcycle of similar value and specification if the stated prize becomes unavailable because of supplier withdrawal or circumstances outside its control.

After confirmation, the motorcycle is held at a designated location for up to one calendar month. If collection is delayed after paperwork is complete, proof of valid insurance must be provided before release.

  • The keyring does not include admission to Veldskoen Rally.
  • Successful payment and correct contact details are essential.
  • Each entry and keyring purchase is non-transferable.
  • No refund is offered, including if the rally is cancelled or postponed.
  • The winner does not need to attend but must respond within the claim period.
  • A valid Code A motorcycle licence is required at handover.
  • Delivery, licensing, registration and insurance are not included.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

Is entering worth it?

The route is simpler than the QJ draw because attending the rally is optional and the R200 purchase produces both a physical keyring and an entry. It may appeal to someone who genuinely wants the merchandise or values the campaign experience.

It should still be treated as a chance-based promotional draw. The organiser does not publish a fixed final entry count in the dedicated rules, so the odds cannot be calculated accurately. Multiple keyrings increase expenditure without guaranteeing any result.
