Is the Decade of JAC competition real?
Yes. JAC Motors South Africa hosts the competition page, owner entry form, prize description and published rules on its official website. The page names the T6 Single Cab as the final grand prize and describes the monthly voucher programme. That direct publication by the promoter is the basis for classifying the campaign as confirmed.
Use only the official JAC page. A legitimate entry needs ownership details that the promoter can verify. Avoid submitting vehicle or personal information through copied forms, social-media messages or accounts that cannot be linked back to JAC Motors South Africa.
How to enter the Decade Campaign
What can you win?
The main prize is a brand-new JAC T6 Single Cab. JAC says the final vehicle is subject to the specification and availability it determines. The current South African T6 Single Cab range is positioned as a one-tonne workhorse, but entrants should not assume the winning derivative, equipment or accessories until the promoter confirms the handover specification.
Monthly challenges also offer vouchers worth up to R30,000. Each challenge can have its own prize, dates and qualifying action, so read the current month’s instructions instead of assuming that one method applies for the full campaign.

Our full South African review covers the R299,900 launch price, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, payload, fuel economy, Comfort and Lux grades, warranty and workhorse alternatives.
Who can enter?
Participants must be at least 18 and hold a valid driver’s licence. More unusually, they must already be eligible JAC owners. The form requests vehicle-specific information, including model, partial VIN and selling dealer, rather than functioning as an unrestricted public giveaway.
Employees of JAC Motors South Africa and its authorised dealerships cannot enter. Their immediate family members are also excluded. Every entrant must accept the main rules plus any additional terms attached to the relevant monthly challenge.
How much does entry cost?
The official campaign page and rules do not publish a separate ticket price or entry fee. The material qualifying condition is ownership of an eligible JAC vehicle. That is different from calling the competition “free for everyone”: purchasing or already owning a JAC is a substantial eligibility requirement, even though the form itself does not list an entry charge.
Do not buy products, pay a fee or send money to an intermediary unless a specific, newly published monthly challenge on JAC’s official website expressly requires a qualifying action. The rules allow each monthly challenge to set its own requirements.
Important dates
| Campaign opens | 1 September 2026 |
|---|---|
| Monthly challenges | Separate periods and requirements published during the campaign |
| Final entry date | 31 August 2027 |
| Grand-prize announcement | 17 September 2027 |
| Prize claim deadline | Within 60 days of the relevant winner announcement |
The final entry date and winner announcement are not the same. A qualifying entry must reach JAC by 31 August 2027; the selected grand-prize winner is scheduled to be announced more than two weeks later, on 17 September.
How are the winners selected?
The published rules state that winners are selected by random draw and announced through JAC Motors South Africa’s official communication channels. The T6 grand-prize winner is scheduled for announcement on 17 September 2027. Monthly winners follow the dates and conditions of their individual challenges.
JAC may reject incomplete or unsuccessful submissions and does not accept responsibility for technical or system failures. Entrants should keep confirmation of a successful submission and ensure that their contact details remain usable throughout the campaign.
What happens if you win?
A winner must claim the relevant prize within 60 days of the announcement. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners consent to JAC publishing their names and/or photographs for competition-related publicity.
The T6 specification depends on availability and JAC’s final determination. A selected winner should obtain the exact derivative, handover location, documentation requirements and included costs in writing before making collection or business-use arrangements.
Costs the winner may still need to pay
Budget for insurance, registration, licensing, transport or collection and any accessories needed for the vehicle’s intended work. Ongoing fuel, servicing, tyres and operating costs naturally remain with the owner. Ask JAC for a written handover breakdown because the rules reserve the right to determine the final prize specification.
Important rules people might miss
- The campaign is for eligible JAC vehicle owners, not the unrestricted public.
- Entrants must be at least 18 and hold a valid driver’s licence.
- One entry is allowed for each JAC vehicle owned.
- Every monthly challenge can introduce its own entry dates and requirements.
- Entries received after 31 August 2027 will not be considered.
- Prizes must be claimed within 60 days of the relevant announcement.
- The T6 derivative and specification depend on availability and JAC’s decision.
- Accessories, insurance, registration and licensing are excluded unless expressly included.
- Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- JAC may amend, suspend or cancel the campaign where necessary.
Is entering worth it?
For an existing eligible JAC owner, the form offers a straightforward opportunity to participate without a separately published ticket price. The most important practical task is supplying accurate ownership information and complying with each monthly challenge rather than repeatedly submitting the same vehicle.
For someone who does not already own a JAC, this is not a reason to buy a vehicle purely for a chance to win. A vehicle purchase should stand on its own business or transport merits. The campaign does not publish a fixed number of valid entries, so it would be misleading to describe the odds as high or easy.
